We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I obtained my Dental Assistant Certificate in 2009. The first few years of my career, I worked chairside and would spend part of my day helping with insurance and front office tasks. I gained a lot of knowledge and enjoyed working on the business side of dentistry a lot. I made my transition to the front office full time and love it! I enjoy working with patients and helping them understand their treatment plans, how their insurance benefits work, and seeing their progression and change throughout their treatment!
My husband Keith and I have three boys, KJ, Koby, and Kaleb. They keep us very busy with their sporting events (ball is life around our house) and activities! We enjoy spending time with family, and when weather permits, we spend lots of time outside! We also enjoy taking family vacations!
I obtained my Dental Assistant Certificate in 2009. I worked as a dental assistant for a few years and went back to school to obtain an Associate’s degree in 2012. Since then, I have worked in the front office, joining Dr. Lane in 2016. I enjoy greeting patients, scheduling their appointments, and helping to make their experience in our office a positive one. My favorite part about working in the dental industry is meeting patients and watching their confidence grow as their health improves through their treatment.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, camping, rollerblading, and traveling.
I began my dental career in 1982 as Dr. Koehler’s dental assistant and earned my Associate’s degree in dental hygiene in 1988. Helping my patients regain their oral health is so rewarding, whether I’m providing non-surgical periodontal treatment or simple oral hygiene instruction. It’s been my pleasure to treat all the wonderful patients who I have gotten to know over the past 35 years.
I have two grown children and three young grandchildren who light up my life. My husband and I enjoy traveling, especially to Indianapolis Colts games. My sister and I are slow but long-distance runners. We have completed nine full marathons and several half marathons!
I earned my Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1974 and joined Indy East in 1983. I love the fact that hygienists can make a difference in patients’ lives while addressing their dental concerns and improving their dental health for a lifetime. As a hygienist, I get to see my patients every six months, which makes me feel like they’re family.
I am happily married with two adult daughters. My free time is spent hiking with the Indianapolis Hiking Club, bicycling, gardening, kayaking, and playing pickle ball.
I studied dental assisting at Professional Careers Institute, graduating in 2003, and went on to earn my Associate’s degree in dental hygiene at IUSD in 2014. Shortly thereafter, I joined Indy East! I enjoy the teamwork of our office. I began with Dr. Koehler who taught me a lot and now Dr. Lane is expanding on that education. I really enjoy how team oriented our practice is and how Dr. Lane is keeping us updated on technology in the dental field.
I have two nieces and a nephew who I enjoy spending time with. I am very close to my family and we spend a lot of time together. When I’m not with my family, I enjoy line dancing and traveling with friends to enjoy new venues and different types of line dances. My boyfriend and I also spend a lot of time outdoors.
Lead Dental Assistant
I obtained my Dental Assistant Certificate in 2007. Following completion, I went to IUSD to obtain my Expanded Functions Certificate. I've been working at Indy East since 2015, where I assist Dr. Lane with all surgical and non-surgical procedures. My favorite part of assisting is providing dentistry that can help people regain their confidence and improve their smile. One of my favorite parts of the job is explaining our dental procedures and answering any questions to help our patients feel more at ease about their treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, bike riding, and reading.
